When it comes to spring design and durability, King Springs knows neither compromise nor second best.... these are the cornerstones of our technology, and the reasons why King Springs are leaders in the replacement and performance automotive spring market. Kings Springs exclusively use high quality, high stress X5K spring steel. This new generation steel allows King Springs to further improve many of their existing designs by reducing the amount of steel required in a spring, making it substantially lighter (by approximately 30%) and reducing the solid height therefore increasing travel. Being of particular benefit at all top levels of Motorsport, this new high stress material was introduced to the leading v8 super car teams (inc HRT, FPR & HSV) in early 2007 giving a hugely successful endorsement of its characteristics & proven durability. Although considerably expensive, King Springs are progressively introducing this new high stress steel to their passenger car and 4wd designs which benefit the most at no extra cost to the consumer.

King is the master of progressive rate coils (they have the ability to wind decreasing diameter wire) which allows great over-the-road highway comfort, but the increased spring rates under load to handle the corners more firmly than stock. PERFECT for the highway drive out, then dirt roads when camping/fishing, cruising rough back roads, deep snow, and even off-roading. Most raising springs lift about 1.5" allowing for less bottoming out, steeper approaches, deeper ruts, and running larger diameter tires!

Primitive Strut Top Lift Spacers

Primitive has developed a low cost series of rugged spacers to provide inexpensive lift to virtually any Subaru. From just lifting the tail to get rid of the dreaded "saggy butt" to a full lift to help maximize clearance. Add a set to your KING spring order to get the most lift for your off-road adventures!
Made from black, high density polyethylene, the spacers were computer designed and are cut on a large waterjet machine. These provide easy lift (positioned under your strut top) but avoid all the problems associated with huge lifts (premature CV Joint failure, steering linkage lengthening, spacer blocks for transmission, extended linkages and brake lines, etc)

TEIN Type HG Dampers/Springs

The Type HG damper/spring system is designed for rally and / or dirt trail racing. It meets the demands of any road surface with its individual compression / rebound damping force adjustment, and ride height adjustment. Utilizes a twin-tube design, and is constructed with steel for additional durability for rough conditions . In order to prevent aeration that can diminish performance, a unique free piston was adapted in the construction of the HG. Developed from TEIN's extensive experience gained in Rally competitions and support.

Primitive Racing Heim Jointed Rear Sway Bar End-Links

Billet Aluminum construction and pressed in heim joint make this the cat's meow of end-links! These lightweight rear swaybar drop links replace the stock plastic "C-shaped" links with precision machined aluminum. We use a a pressed in heim joint, effectively stiffening the sway bar action because there is near zero play, and making your 20mm+ swaybar act more quickly. Because the joint swivels, you reduce or eliminate the squeaks and rattles associated with delrin or urethane. This is the most responsive design available for a drop in replacement.

Primitive Racing Aluminum Front Strut Tower Bar

Our strut tower bars provides lateral stability for stresses on the front strut towers. Made of tubular aluminum, the bar incorporates a new design for mounting to the towers as shown in the photo. The very rigid bar transfers almost all the lateral stress from one strut tower to the other. The net result is a stiffer structure, with less body flex, and less chance of "tower misalignment" in overstressed road conditions. Fits all 1993-2007 Impreza's (2.5rs,WRX and STi)
