Legacy 2.5i/GT - Outback 2.5i & Outback 3.6RT Front Skidplate

This 3/16" T5052 aircraft aluminum skidplate was developed specifically for the 2010 and newer Legacy and Outback platform.  Not only does it protect the engine, sump, and exhaust headers over ROUGH and GRAVEL roads, but includes vents to draw out more hot air and smooth the front end aerodynamics.  Note the tight fit to give the BEST ground clearance, while still remaining SIMPLE to install.  Takes just a couple of minutes with 3 bolts and 2 push-on clips. Great for backwoods trails, the desert, TSD gravel rallies and off-road travel. Simple installation. Mounting hardware included.

Primitive is proud to announce our new, CVT tranny protector.  This nice, lightweight plate bolts on easily and provides that big, exposed CVT tranny underpan an extra layer of protection, while providing vented aluminum that draws away hot air, acting as an additional heat sink.  Not quite up to ROCK CRAWLER standards, but gives a little peace of mind while traveling that "less travelled" path...

Our custom design uses all your stock mounting points for easy install and is made with the same 3/16" aluminum as our other heavy duty skidplates.  This is nice, solid, bolt-on rear differential protection.  You can easily jack the entire vehicle up under this rear skidplate!  Please specify whish transmission your car has when ordering.

This sturdy skidplate bolts on easily in place of the factory piece of plastic; you get excellent protection from anything trying to hurt your motor, manifold, oil pan or filter. The aluminum plate features full protection out to the frame rails on each side and extends back beyond the rear of the sub-frame. Designed to maximize ground clearance and to install quickly... a rear lip keeps the plate from hanging up when you reverse. Available in 1/8" for light duty/snow or 3/16" for heavy duty/rallycross/back roads.

Legacy Front Skidplate

Primitive's Legacy front skidplate fits both wagon and sedan models and offers the best protection for the underside of your ride. This rally proven skidplate is tough enough for off-road abuse or that random piece of debris laying in the middle of I-5. Weighing in at around 20lbs it won't add tons of extra weight and you will forget its even there, until you need it!
