ð Dana Rysavy made a touching Presentation of a Card signed by all present expressing our gratitude to the Police Officers present at our meeting for their day to day efforts on our Neighborhood’s behalf especially in the light of 9-11-01

ð Elections were held for all the Officers and other Board Members. One person was nominated for each office and the entire slate of Board Members was elected by Unanimous consent of the members present and voting. The new officers are as follows:
ð President: Alison England
ð Vice President: Dan Erceg
ð Secretary-Treasurer: Harvey Darnell
ð Community Liaison: Dana Rysavy
ð City Liaison: Tom Smith
ð Members at Large: Debbie Palmer and Carol Stanford
ð Street Captains to help identify neighborhood concerns were appointed:
ð Leigh Parsons- Atlanta (Bird-Delmas), Barbara Norman- Fuller (Central), Dan Erceg Fuller (Central-Bird), John Mendez- East Fuller, Jesse Ramos- East Fuller, Renee Erez- West Coe, Dana Rysavy- Snyder, Gary Jansen- Spencer, Harvey Darnell- Hull
ð Other Lead Persons were appointed to work on Neighborhood Issues:
ð Homeowner Improvement Programs Advocates: Lori Sobrero, Harvey Darnell
ð Traffic Calming Wizard: Ken Eklund
ð Dumpster Days Coordinator: Tom Smith

ð Renee Erez spoke regarding the work of the Open Space Committee. The Open Space Committee has submitted our Neighborhood Requests for the Hummingbird Park at Bird and Fisk to the City Parks and Recreation Department, which will develop it as a City Park.

ð Debbie Palmer spoke about CAP grants and the group agreed to discuss possible CAP grant projects at the next meeting.

The meeting adjourned around 8:45.
